The design process can be grouped into three distinct categories: Conceptualization [abstract thinking] Organization [problem solving] Implementation [documentation + making]

Most architectural minded individuals are very strong (while ever improving) in the problem solving and implementation categories identified, the most room for improvement stems in the conceptualization phase. One hesitates in dissecting this portion of the creative process for fear of removing the wings from the butterfly; however this portion of the process is ripe for taking our solutions to the next level and should be examined.
